Phone Calls in WodBoard

You can now make and receive voice calls within WodBoard allowing you to keep your business separate from your personal calls.  Additionally, all staff will call from the same number giving a streamline customer experience. All calls are logged within the WodBoard Inbox and the Activity of a customer so you can see missed, outgoing and incoming calls and also voicemails.

To activate phone calls, you will require our CRM (customer relationship management add-on) and a phone number.

Activating your phone calls

  • At the top right corner of your dashboard, click on the phone icon.
  • Swipe to enable phone calls.
  • Allow WodBoard access to speakers and microphone when asked.

Microphone access: If every time you return to WodBoard, you are asked to give microphone access, you can change your settings to 'always allow' to avoid giving permission each time you return to the app.

Outgoing phone calls

You can call a customer from any screen within the WodBoard app. It will ring and can be answered through your computer.

  • Call from key pad

or

  • Call from Customer Profile -> Click number to call

Incoming phone calls

If a call comes in it will ring through to the app with a note of who is calling (if this is stored information of a customer).

If you miss the call, this will be flagged in your Inbox with a note of the customer and time of missed call.

Voicemail

You can configure a voicemail note in Settings -> CRM under Phone number. Select between a man or woman voice, type message and click enable voicemail.

If a voicemail is left, you will also find these in the Inbox under the customer that left the message.
