Shop Set-up

Using the Shop in WodBoard

The WodBoard Shop lets you sell products to your members all within their WodBoard account using their stored method of payment.  You can also make in-person sales using the POS feature.  

To turn on the Shop, head to Settings -> Business details -> select Open.

Create Collections

Creating collection options allows your gym to keep the shop organised within the members app.  For example, you may have categories such as:

• Clothing
• Accessories
• Drinks
• Supplements

When you go to create your product, you can then assign the product to the appropriate category.

Create a Product

1. Open Shop in WodBoard and go to your products.
2. Select the option to add a product.
3. Select the Product Type
   1. Product with inventory tracking (eg. clothing items that you have in store).
   2. Product without inventory tracking (useful for high turnover products such as drinks).
   3. Pre-release product (excellent option to bring money in prior placing an order from supplier).
   4. Product not currently for available for sale (use if an item is not available to purchase).
4. Enter a clear name, description, image and the Collection it's a part of.
5. Choose the product's available options, such as size or colour, if shown.
6. You can mark whether the product will be marked as auto-fulfilled or not.
7. Save

Use a name that makes the item easy to recognise in an order, such as “Gym T-shirt — Black” or “Protein shake.” Include any useful collection or delivery information in the description. This will be useful especially if you are looking to export any of the Reports on the Shop.

How purchases work

Customers browse the products you make available in the Shop and place an order through the app or at the front desk if you have the POS in operation (eg a tablet at your reception). You can see any purchases made in your Shop 'Orders' section.

Discounts

Discount can be added in the shop, however this can only be applied when creating a new order from the admin side via the POS.

Manage stock

If you track stock for a product, enter the quantity you have available and update it when new stock arrives or you make an adjustment. (Products -> Inventory -> adjust).

Ensure you have switched on 'Shop order' and 'Shop item out of stock' for notifications to come through to you.  You can do this in Settings -> Notifications.
