Setting up a Domain with GoDaddy
Step 1: Go to the GoDaddy Website
Navigate to https://www.godaddy.com in your web browser.
Step 2: Sign In or Create an Account
If you already have a GoDaddy account, click Sign In at the top right and log in.
If you don’t have an account, click Sign In > Create Account and follow the prompts.

Step 3: Search for Your Domain Name
On the homepage, use the domain search bar to enter the domain you want (e.g., yourbrand.com).
Click Search Domain.

Step 4: Select and Add Your Domain to Cart
Browse the search results to confirm your domain is available.
Click Add to Cart next to your chosen domain.

Step 5: Review and Continue to Cart
Review your selection and consider removing any add-ons (privacy, website builder, etc.) if you don’t need them.
Click Continue to Cart or Continue to Checkout.

Step 6: Purchase Your Domain
Select the number of years to register your domain (1 year is standard).
Enter your billing information and complete the purchase.

Step 7: Access Your Domain Dashboard
After purchase, click on your name (top right) and choose My Products.
You’ll see your domain listed. Click Manage next to your new domain.

Step 8: Set Up DNS and Connect Your Domain
In the domain settings, click DNS or Manage DNS.
Here, you can add or update DNS records (A, CNAME, MX, etc.) if you need to connect your domain to a website, email service, or other platforms.
