Quick Start Guide

This is a thorough guide to help you set up your account on WodBoard. We will walk you through the process of setting up classes, services, programming, and staff.

Dashboard

The Dashboard offers a comprehensive overview of your business. From this page, you can directly access the following reports:

  • Monthly revenue
  • Customers (This month, Last month, Abandoned, Upcoming)
  • Customer Activity
  • Customers On ramp
  • Average customer lifetime
  • Average Customer Value/month
  • Customer lifetime value
  • CRM reports (if you have this as an add-on)

Timetable

In order to set up a Membership Plan or Pass, you will first need to create a Class or Service to attach to it. Everything starts with the timetable.

To set up a class:

  • Select Classes -> New Class Type -> Enter details

To set up a service:

  • Select Services -> New Service -> Enter details

This is a detailed article on setting up a Service

Memberships & Passes

Next you will need to set up a membership or pass as a method of charging your members.

  • Head to your Menu -> Memberships to get started

Programming

If you have this option available, you can input your programming and allocate them to the classes you have set up. This is also where you can access Personal Training and Templates which you can assign to individual customers.

To set up a program:

  • Menu -> Programming -> New Program

  • Schedule the date, assign the class and click 'Next'
  • Click the 'Add Component' button in the bottom bar to start building the programming
  • Programming Notes are viewable by your customers
  • Coaching notes are viewable by your staff only

Setting Up Staff

Your Staff will require a different account than your Customers. You can create availability, assign pay rates and permissions in this section. Full details on permissions are found here.

To set this up:

  • Menu -> Staff -> Add Staff Member

If they are an existing Customer, search their name to add. Otherwise add them in as a New Staff Member. The 'Gym' user is for public computers in the gym so customers can't click through to the admin area (ie. customer sign-in, program view-ability).

Legal Documents

As part of a customer joining your gym you can would normally ask them to sign some legal documents.  For example a waiver and/or some membership terms and conditions.  With WodBoard you can do this whole process digitally. See article on Legal Documents.

To set this up:

  • Menu -> Settings -> Legal Documents
